Toulouse has a two-line automatic VAL-metro (27 km) and a suburban feeder railway line. An 11,2 km tramway feeder line is under construction for completion in 2010, it will be extended to the city centre in 2013. Later a branch to the airport and a second line to Montaudran might be added.
